LEB Lucita
An accomplished 8-year-old bay mare by Capri Van Overis, out of LEB Liath, combining proven competition experience, scope and temperament with one of LEB Irish Sport Horses’ established performance families.
Proven in Competition
Lucita combines proven competition experience with a genuine attitude to her work. She has competed across both show jumping and eventing and has demonstrated the scope, consistency and temperament required to continue progressing through the grades.
Currently jumping at 1.20m with ease and consistency.
Actively competing at EI110 level.
Awarded 21 SJI points and classified Grade E.
Successfully shown at Cavan Winter Festival and across the Irish circuit.
Described as straightforward, brave and a real pleasure to ride, Lucita has three quality paces and a genuine attitude. Her combination of experience and temperament makes her an exciting prospect for a junior or young rider, ambitious amateur or professional looking for a competitive mare to continue producing.
A Proven Competition Family
Lucita’s dam, LEB Liath — a full sister to Mary King’s Imperial Cavalier — has an established record of producing quality competition horses. Her progeny have progressed through international eventing, young-horse championships and competitive yards across Ireland, the UK, Germany and the USA.
LEB Liath’s Jewel Star
Finished 9th from 32 starters, jumping clear cross-country and finishing as the only horse inside the optimum time. The family has progressed to five-star eventing level.

Finished 5th in the six-year-old World Breeding Championships at Le Lion and has continued her international career, progressing to Young Rider level in Germany.
LEB Imperial Flight
Continuing the family’s international performance record with a successful eventing career in the United States.
